Lotus is leading a paradigm shift.
Fertility has been miscategorized for too long — treated as a women's health issue, a side benefit, a private struggle. In reality, it's a financial event, a household decision, a generational force. It affects men and women, balance sheets and birth rates, the families people build and the ones they don't.
We're building the company that treats it that way.
What We're Realigning
Three shifts the fertility and life-insurance industries have been waiting for.
Reactive → Proactive
Infertility is a treatable disease that affects 1 in 6 people — not an elective procedure. We design for prevention, not just intervention.
Misaligned → Aligned
Today's system profits when claims get expensive. Our model only works when fewer families ever reach the costliest part of the journey — so our incentives finally point the same way as theirs.
Death benefit → Life benefit
Life insurance reanimated as a living, family-building product — relevant 10–15 years earlier than a traditional term sale.
From the Founder

A few years ago, I found myself exploring fertility preservation options. However, I was discouraged by the limited choices and lack of coverage provided by my employer and insurance provider. At the same time, I was spending thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses for fertility care, leading me to question why this wasn't considered part of healthcare.
Why is fertility care often separated from overall health? The unfortunate truth is that our healthcare system isn't designed around the female anatomy. As a result, conditions and diseases that disproportionately affect women are under-researched and overlooked. This leaves women and their families bearing an unfair burden of out-of-pocket healthcare expenses, placing women at an economic disadvantage for a significant part of their lives.
This experience sparked a question: how is it that there's this massive gap in the market for one of the most significant life events that a person can plan for?
Motivated by this curiosity, I founded Lotus Fertility Insurance. We're on a mission to create a new insurance product designed for fertility, addressing a pressing need in today's market.
